The Magic Father-Daughter Bond!!
Starting a blog has been on my mind for quite some time but like every other work I plan to do I kept on postponing this. So what made me execute this plan finally? Now for a 24 hour flashback. I got into the ladies compartment of the suburban train hoping to find a place to sit. And yeah I found a place and took out my ipod. Just when my mind began to wonder about important questions for the next day’s test, a lady sat opposite me with a 4 year old kid on her lap.
Once the train started, this kid began screaming “daddy daddy daddy”. All of us smiled. This was so cute and the sight reminded of selfless and unconditional love.
But as the train gained speed, this child started calling out for her daddy non-stop at the top of her voice. Not anything that her mom said or did could divert the kid, or pacify it. The baby ended her shouts only when it slept out of exhaustion.
Seeing this made me think of the father-daughter relationship. I realize that the bond between a father and a daughter goes very, very deep. The most special gift a girl gets is a lovable and affectionate dad.
I tried posting this in facebook but the word limit of 420 wasn’t sufficient. I wanted to share this and that’s the reason I created this blog.
I dedicate this to everyone who cherishes their bond with their dear dads.
Hoping to share something true and new with you soon.
