When we worked as a team!!

“Bunking” – The key word in every college student’s dictionary. The reason for bunking??Well, just being out of class is reason enough!!So, my friends and me decided to bunk. We left our department and starting walking the looooong distance towards the college entrance. On we marched, with the happiness that’s uniquely associated with our age. Trouble came to “ the unsuspecting “ us in the form of the imposing security guards. When they asked us the usual formality sake question of “ hostellites / day scholars ? ”, we confidently chorused day scholars. And then came the twist – we were simply told to return. Frustrated and shocked, we asked the reason and this somehow triggered the menacing guard and he started shouted at us. Not used to such treatment, we started arguing back but this did not get us anywhere. The Magic Father-Daughter Bond!!

Starting a blog has been on my mind for quite some time but like every other work I plan to do I kept on postponing this. So what made me execute this plan finally? Now for a 24 hour flashback. I got into the ladies compartment of the suburban train hoping to find a place to sit. And yeah I found a place and took out my ipod. Just when my mind began to wonder about important questions for the next day’s test, a lady sat opposite me with a 4 year old kid on her lap. Once the train started, this kid began screaming “daddy daddy daddy”. All of us smiled. This was so cute and the sight reminded of selfless and unconditional love. But as the train gained speed, this child started calling out for her daddy non-stop at the top of her voice. Not anything that her mom said or did could divert the kid, or pacify it. The baby ended her shouts only when it slept out of exhaustion. Seeing this made me think of the father-daughter relationship. I realize that the bond between a father and a daughter...

Welcome!!

Writing as a form of expression is so powerful. To me, writing is a process of introspection, discovery, exploration and I am loving this experience. Here, I am sharing some of my works.
